I recently came across the work of Paul Cadden. www.paulcadden.com Cadden is a Scottish-born hyperrealist artist who creates AMAZINGLY realistic artworks using only graphite and chalk! I've seen quite a bit of hyperrealist stuff before but these are incredible. They look like freakin photgraphs!
